Decks and porches in Ottawa

An outdoor structure lives or dies on what you cannot see. Footings have to sit below the frost line, the ledger has to be fastened and flashed correctly, and the framing has to shed water. We build those parts first and carefully.

From a simple deck to a covered, screened porch, Liam works with you on size, materials and how the space connects to the house.

Good to know

Do I need a permit for a deck?

Many decks do, depending on height and how they attach to the house. We tell you early whether yours does and help with the application.

Can you rebuild my old deck?

Usually the footings and framing tell us whether to repair or replace. We check them on the site visit.

Planning a deck or porch?

Book a site visit. Liam will look at the space with you and tell you plainly what the project involves.
